Aevium Assist
An assistant that knows when to stop.
Assist is artificial intelligence and says so in every conversation. It handles the practical side of the practice around the clock. Clinical questions go to a physician — that boundary is written into the system, not left to judgement.
What it will do
- Explain how screening, protocols, billing and delivery work
- Tell you where your shipment is and when your next cycle bills
- Describe a product range in plain language
- Book, move or cancel an appointment
- Repeat, word for word, what your physician has already written to you
What it will never do
- Set, change or suggest a dose
- Diagnose anything, or interpret a symptom
- Tell you whether you are a candidate for treatment
- Read your labs or explain a result
- Reassure you about a symptom that needs a doctor
Escalation
Chest pain, severe abdominal pain, breathing difficulty, signs of pancreatitis, allergic reaction or pregnancy end the conversation and route you to emergency care and to the on-call physician.
The refusal list
The list of questions Assist must refuse is written and signed off by our founding physician, and reviewed as the practice changes.
Handover
Anything Assist cannot answer becomes a message in your portal to a named doctor, with the conversation attached so you never repeat yourself.
