What a baseline panel actually shows
Optional, not required — but here is what we would look at if you say yes.

A baseline panel is not a gate. Your physician decides whether labs are clinically indicated for you, and most patients do not need them before starting.\n\nIf you want them anyway, here is what we read: fasting glucose and HbA1c for how your body is handling sugar today; a lipid panel; liver enzymes; kidney function; thyroid function; and a full blood count.\n\nWhat that gives you is a line in the sand. Six months later the second panel means something, because the first one exists.\n\nPanels are facilitated through Metric Diagnostics, included quarterly in Aevium Private, and available at member pricing on Protocol.
